  • Massachusetts State Capitol (Boston)

It seems smaller than I expected. Massachusetts is historical and comparably big state with big city like Boston.
It is actually located in Boston but, not that magnificiant as Boston.
생각보다 작았다..

  • Rhode Island State Capitol (Providence)

It is bigger than I expected. It seems okay.
생각보다 컸다.

  • Connecticut State Capitol (Hartford)

It looks really beautiful outside.
외관이 매우 아름다웠다.

  • New York State Capitol (Albany)

New York is New York even it is not the city but the state capitol.
뉴욕은 역시 뉴욕

  • New Jersey State Capitol (Trenton)

It seems better than I expected.
It is a good complex with nice mixture of buildings.
생각보다 괜찮았다.

  • Delaware State Capitol (Dover)

It was built in the great depression.
대공황때 지었다고 한다.

  • Maryland State Capitol (Annapolis)

It is nice with cherry blossom. I can feel the history of Maryland there.
역사가 있는 꽤 좋음.

  • U.S. Capitol (Washington D.C.)

National Capital.
수도는 역시 수도

Pretty big with nice palm trees.
꽤 크고 야자수가 인상적.

  • Texas State Capitol (Austin)

It is a massive structure, but inside is not impressive.
많이 큰데 내부가 소박.

  • Utah State Capitol (Sale Lake City)

It is massive and seems like national capitol.
국회의사당 느낌과 비슷했다.

  • Colorado State Capitol (Denver)

It has a beautiful dome structure.
서부 마운틴 느낌이 물씬나는.. 돔 예뻤음

  • Missouri State Capitol (Jefferson City)

The Capitol building looks like a magnificent Greek temple, and you can really feel Missouri’s history and culture there.
미주리의 전통과 문화 역사가 느껴지는 멋진 벽화들과 웅장한 외관, 그리스 신전을 보는 것 같았다.

  • Illinois State Capitol (Springfield)

It is really beautiful both inside and out. There is nothing to complain about.
외관 내부 모두 매우 예뻤다. 뭐하나 빠지는 부분 없는 멋진 건물.

  • Alabama State Capitol (Montgomery)

It feels very different from other state capitols. The House and Senate chambers are no longer in use, and the newer building is not widely open to the public. Walking through the space, I can sense the lingering historical legacy of the Southern Confederacy.

남부연맹 시절의 느낌이 강했다. 서던호스피털리티가 느껴지진 않았다.

  • Florida State Capitol (Tallahassee)

Modern building, with the new chambers open to the public. can still sense Southern hospitality. 매우 현대적이고 높은 건물이 과거의 캐피톨과 함께 자리잡고 있었다. 내부가 인상적이진 않지만 아무래도 남부의 좋은 인상이 느껴졌다.

  • Georgia State Capitol (Atlanta)

Not bad, but not particularly impressive. Barricades cover the entire capitol building.
나쁘진 않았지만 아주 화려하지도 특출나지도 않았고 바리케이드가 꽁꽁 감싸고 있었다.

  • Indiana State Capitol (Indianapolis)

I think the Midwest has a kind of warm, genuine hospitality, the weather can be pretty cold though. I also found it interesting to hear the debate over Lincoln’s hometown connections to Missouri, Indiana, and Illinois. Learning about Indiana’s history was especially fun, and I loved the way the Statehouse is laid out, including the governor’s office. I was also surprised to learn that Indiana is the No. 1 hardwood supplier in the U.S.
미드웨스트의 멋진 캐피톨.. 내부도 아주 멋졌고 링컨 이야기도 재미있었다, 일리노이와 미주리와 함께 링컨 연고지에 대한 논쟁이 있다는 것이 흥미로웠고 투어분이 주지사 오피스도 보여주셔서 아주 재미있었다.
원래 30분짜리 투어가 한시간 10분 이상의 긴 투어가되었지만 투어가 아예 제공되지 않는 동남부들과 비교해본다면 너무 좋고 친절하고 따뜻했다.. 물론 날씨는 추웠지만..

  • Ohio State Capitol (Columbus)

Three connected parts, the Senate House, the Capitol building, and a connecting building nicknamed pigeon hole(and there ia actually one artificial pigeon inside).
It is also funny that the entire interior is pink, even though it was originally meant to represent maculinity.
세가지 건물이 하나로 연결되서 완성된 캐피톨이 인상적이었다. 연결로써 완성된 독특한 외관과 내부 모두 흥미로웠고 당시에는 남성성을 상징하는 핑크로 내부를 꾸며놓은것도 재미있었다.
주차장과 연결되는 지하 통로 및 지하 박물관도 좋았고 가이드가 안 오셔서 어쩔 수 없이 대신 나오신 직원분의 설명도 너무 귀엽고 재미있었다.

  • Pennsylvania State Capitol (Harrisburg)

It is a massive, impressive building. President Theodore Roosevelt called it the handsomest building.
웅장하고 크고 인상적이다.. 당시 대통령이 가장 멋진 건축물이라고 했다한다.

  • Kentucky State Capitol (Frankfort)

It is currently under construction for restoration.
내부와 외부 모두 공사중이어서 자세히 살필 수는 없었다..
